Grey Wool Cassock with Red Wool Guards

I made this cassock in 2003 for my husband. I had previously made a similar one for myself out of the same material but it was much plainer and I wanted something more a little more fancy for him. It’s made of grey wool and lined with red linen. The sleeves are guarded with red wool guards in a chevron pattern and there is red wool pinking decorating the collar. It closes with three pewter buttons at the neck. It is fully hand finished and there are no visible machine stitches.
