This week I finally finished the (pretty much) final draft of the Swetnam article I have been working on since last spring. Don’t ask me why it took so long to finish. It’s really not a particularly long article as it only covers two aspects of Swetnam’s system and I have at least 2 maybe 3 more articles to write until I’ve got it all covered. Basically I just kept leaving it to go work on other things. I brainstormed and outlined other articles. I worked on sewing and embroidery projects. I went diving and running and just generally spend time not working on my article. So it spent a lot of time on the back burner until I picked it back up over the summer and decided I wanted to finish it. That’s kind of how I roll with projects. I also really hate writing introductions and conclusions so left to my own devices a mostly finished article will often wait weeks while I put off writing them.

But it’s pretty much finished. I’m letting it sit for a few days so I can go back and do the final editing with fresh eyes but over all I’m pretty happy with it. After this though I think I work on another Silver project before finishing with Swetnam.
